After Hours Break-In at North Beach Restaurant Leads to Burglary Charges | |

NORTH BEACH, Maryland – On October 15, 2021, at approximately 12:51 a.m., Deputy Gough responded to Hook & Vine- Kitchen and Bar, located at 4114 7th Street in North Beach, MD with a report of a burglary.

Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who said a male suspect broke into the restaurant earlier that night after the restaurant closed.

CCTV of the establishment was obtained and the suspect was seen forcibly opening the restaurant door and entering the building. A search for the suspect was released to patrol units.

Shortly after the surveillance, CCSO received reports of a disorderly subject in the region and MPs responded at the scene. Contact was made with the messy subject identified as Kolten Takoda Ford, 24, of Chesapeake Beach, MD, who matched the description and was wearing the exact clothes of the suspect in the Hook & Vine robbery.

Ford was taken into custody and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and 4th Degree Burglary.
